Pastors Steve and Toni

Our pastors come from our Network’s central sending church in Kansas City, KS. It was there where they met Jesus and each other. Upon getting married they immediately jumped into ministry together and began working with a Youth Bible Study. For the next 10 years they served in a number of different ministries within the church. Sound/video, usher, greeter, photography, Group leaders and Youth Pastors.

After a decade of serving in Kansas City together and through deep prayer and counsel from their pastors, they planted The Cure Church in Lawrence in June of 2018. They have a passion to see the lost come to know Jesus as more than a religion, but the Savior that He is. Their vision for The Cure in Lawrence is to build a community of disciples of Jesus who passionately reach this city for the Kingdom of God. Their heart for people is evident when you see them interact with anyone who steps foot inside our church.

Pastors Steve and Toni live in Lawrence with their two boys, Caleb and Conner.
