Palm Sunday - Crown or Cross
Today we acknowledge the day Jesus arrived in Jerusalem and was celebrated by hundreds of thousands of people.
Passover is a massive spring festival where Jewish people come together from all over the region to celebrate and remember the liberation of the Israelites from Egyptian slavery. This festival lasts about 7 days.
In this message we’ll take a look at how Jesus was celebrated as the promised Messiah on his way into Jerusalem, but in one short week, some of those same people turned on him. They took away the crown they gave him and gave him a cross.
The question we must ask ourselves is, are we aware that being a fan of Jesus isn’t enough? If we will worship him in the good times, but not in the difficult times, where is our faith really at?
